Smart Use of Your Interactive Whiteboard -- P5-377-SS10: Section 2
(Smart Use of Your Interactive Whiteboard: Summer: Section 2)
Teachers do not need access to an interactive whiteboard to participate.
Facilitated by a veteran NYC teacher, Smart Use of Your Interactive Whiteboard is designed to introduce educators to working with interactive whiteboard technology in a practical, classroom-based manner. Participants will learn integration of this technology in various subject areas, linking technology to classroom practice, while also addressing the specific needs of diverse learners and ELL students. As a culminating project, participants will learn how to design their own lesson, informed by assessment data, incorporating an interactive whiteboard as a curricular tool for student learning.
