This course is designed to enable teachers to acquire and use the tools of action research to study their instruction and discern alternative approaches to help students succeed. When teachers consider themselves to be researchers, not just consumers of research, they are exercising leadership. When teachers form networks to share their knowledge, they are designing their own professional development to reshape instructional practice.
